Andrew Famous Has Something to Say on New Album ‘Change’

Dance music has always carried more weight than people give it credit for. The best tracks don’t just move bodies, they shift moods, create connections, and give people permission to feel something bigger than their daily routines. German producer Andrew Famous understands this, and his upcoming album Change puts that philosophy front and center.

The 14-track record, out December 6, 2025, is what Famous calls a direct response to the state of the world. “Things have gone askew,” he says, describing the album as arriving during “humanity’s greatest transformation.” He’s not interested in making background music. He wants the dance floor to feel something beyond the four-on-the-floor kick, and he’s built an album designed to do exactly that. “My album Change is a wake-up call,” Famous explains. “With my new album, they should start to change the world in a positive way.”

Famous has been circling this moment for over two decades. He picked up guitar in the late ’90s, spent his teenage years experimenting with Reason and Fruity Loops, and built an audience through his Mixcloud series Positive Vibes and We Love Deep Melodic House Music. But it wasn’t until 2023 that he started releasing music professionally, dropping his debut album Elements that November, followed by Parallels in 2024. Change marks his third full-length in just over two years, a pace that shows he’s got something to say and isn’t waiting around.

The music itself splits the difference between club-ready energy and more introspective, trance-influenced moments. Tracks like “The Last Dance,” “Fade Away,” and “Spirit Animal” sit alongside the title track “Change” and “Tomorrow,” each functioning as its own self-contained narrative. Famous describes the goal simply: “a dreamy style to forget your daily problems.”

His influences span multiple genres. Famous cites Hans Zimmer’s cinematic scope alongside trance architects like Ferry Corsten and Paul van Dyk, plus African music and progressive house names like Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Tinlicker, and Yotto. You can hear all of it across the album’s 14 tracks.

“My mission is to bring positive vibes to all the people around the world,” Famous says. It’s the kind of idealism that’s always been part of dance music’s DNA, and Change makes no apologies for putting it right up front.

Change is available for pre-save on Spotify. You can also find Andrew Famous on his website, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
